Giveaway & First Impression - Alessandro International - Striplac Try Me Kit

Hi lovelies!

Today I have the chance to not only share my first impressions on the new Alessandro Striplac Try Me Kit* but also give a kit away to one of you!

For those of you who aren't familiar with Striplacs, they're very long lasting nail polishes  (10 days!) with a gel like finish but instead of removing the polish with nail polish remover you just peel it off. The Try Me Kit contains everything you need to get your Striplac manicure:

  • 1 LED lamp (+charger)
  • 1 Twin coat
  • 1 colour - Hurly Burly
  • 1 File
  • 2 cleansing pads
  • 2 wooden cuticle pushers
...and of course a step by step handbook.
I've tried the kit for you and I'd like to share my first impressions: The handbook contains a very detailed description of what you have to do, so it's pretty easy to follow. After prepping your nails with the cuticle pushers and the file you apply one coat of the Twin Coat as a base. The polish is thicker in texture than a normal nail polish but distributes surprisingly even. The LED lamp takes 90 seconds to cure the nail polish. Remove the sticky layer with the cleansing pad and apply the colour, in this case Hurly Burly. It's a beautiful, fresh and fun summer pink. The last layer is the Twin Coat again. After every application you need to use the lamp to cure the nail polish.
The result is a perfectly even manicure with a very glossy finish. I've had it on my nails for five days now and there isn't even a scratch. So far, I'm very happy with the Alessandro Striplacs. I'll do a full review as soon as I've tried it for a while and I'd like to include the winners opinion too. The Try Me Kit is available in drugstores, Manor, Globus, Jelmoli and a lot more from mid August at CHF 79.90.

But let's get to the interesting part: The giveaway!
