Yves Rocher Vertigo Length Mascara Review

Vertigo Length is Yves Rocher's summer mascara launch. A mini brush for maximum effect!

If I've read the claim of this product, I would have been less surprised by the miniature brush I pulled out of this mascara tube.

The mascara looks pretty normal from the outside, it has a sleek silver design with the name written on it in big letters. But when you pull the brush out, you'll immediately notice that this isn't your average mascara. The brush is tiny and extremely fine to enable you to reach even the smallest of your lashes.

To be honest, when I opened it I wasn't sure if I've somehow broken off the brush until I took a closer look at the design and decided everything looks as it's supposed to - just smaller.

This mascara can be applied exactly like every other mascara, no special technique needed. It fans the lashes nicely and lengthens them. It doesn't add intense volume but because it covers all the lashes, it opens up the eye. Vertigo Length isn't waterproof but it doesn't smudge during the day even if it's as insanely hot outside as it is today.

This quickly became a staple in my makeup routine because it's so easy to handle, it's been the one mascara I took on holiday with me. I use it on days I haven't planned a workout to ensure I won't look like a panda after having a shower.

The product is available in black, brown and blue and costs CHF 34 (currently on offer online for CHF 19.90). I haven't used blue mascara since I was a kid and I can't think of an occasion I'd wear it. What would you use it for? And have you ever tried a mascara with a brush as small as this one?
